Learning new skills together

On December 14, 2017 the team consisted professors Natasha Mladenovska and Faruk Jashari realized the intercultural activity on the topic “Communication and team-work”. The goal of the activity was to upgrade the communication skills of the students through non-verbal communication and teamwork. The activity was carried out through various methods and techniques: group work, work in pair, contests, finding fast solutions, etc.

Introduction of the students in intercultural classes

On December 12, 2017 the teacher tandem consisted of teachers Klaudija Guxhevska and Visar Sopaj realized the introductory extracurricular activities according to the Nansen model for intercultural education with the students from 1st year classes included in the project. The purpose of the activity was to introduce the students and create a positive working environment within the classroom. This was achieved through various fun activities and teambuilding games implemented by the teachers by using tandem cooperation and bilingual approach. The students actively participated in all planned activities and had wonderful opportunity to meet their peers from the other classes.

Communications skills and teamwork

On December 8 and 11, 2017 the team comprised of the school principal Emilija Angelova and professors Ornela Dzaferi and Ljupka Gajdoska implemented the regular intercultural activities with the students. The goal of the activities was to exercise communication and teamwork through games and activities. The students had the opportunity to also practice non-verbal communication with their peers through the planned activities.

Introdutcotory activities and communication sessions

On December 8, 2017, the school principal Emilija Angelova together with teachers Ornela Dzaferi and Ljupka Gajdovska realized intercultural extracurricular activities with the 4th year gymnasium students. The students had the oppotrunity to get to know each other better throug various fun activities, such are sharing their interests, hobbies, favorite foods, etc. During the activities, the students also practiced their communication skills through various fun exercises.

On November 20, 2017 the teacher tandem consisted of teachers Irena Stevanoska and Nehat Rexhepi realized the first introductory extracurricular activities according to the Nansen model for intercultural education with the students from 1st year classes included in the project.

NDC Skopje reconstructs classrooms and school spaces in VSS Braka Miladovci, Skopje

In the period September- October, 2017 as part of the practical implementation of the fourth thematic area of the Concept for Intercultural education, i.e. “Ambiance (Ethos) in educational institutions” NDC Skopje completed the reconstruction process in 3 classrooms and 1 hallway in the Vocational Secondary School of Skopje Braka Miladinovci. Additionally, NDC Skopje provided didactic materials, school furniture and IT equipment for all the classrooms.
