Origami

On April 11, 2018, professors Natasha Mladenovska and Faruk Jashari realized the extracurricular activity on the topic “Origami”. The aims of the activity were: effective and appropriate verbal communication, encouragement of affective listening, creative thinking, cooperative learning, preparedness for teamwork as well as the development of fine motor skills.

“During the main part, the students were divided into 4 groups and realized the following activities: the first group made origami-flowers; the second group crafted origami-cars; the third group crafted an origami-house; whereas the fourth group crafted an origami-butterfly.

In the final part of the activity, the students exposed the crafted origami and followed a short video, where wild animals made of origami in the form of an animated film were shown.” N. Mladenovska and F. Jashari

Designing together

On March 8, 2018 teachers Olivera Velichkovska and Bujamin Memedi realized the integrated extracurricular activity with the students. The goals of the activity were to promote: effective and appropriate verbal communication, effective listening, creative thinking, cooperative learning and readiness for teamwork. Through creative activities, the students learned more about the process of design and discussed about the significance of logos.

Creative recycling

March 7, 2018- The integrated extracurricular activities that are implemented according to the Nansen model for intercultural education besides enabling integration and socialization among students, they also support their creative potential and provide space for creative activities. During the intercultural activity, teachers Natasa Mladenovska and Faruk Jashari presented the fun side of recycling to the students, during which they designed various designs of t-shirts and decorations.

We design

Learning about designs

On February 26, 2018 teachers Nehat Rexhepi and Irena Stevanoska realized the integrated extracurricular activity with the students. The goals of the activity were to promote: effective and appropriate verbal communication, effective listening, creative thinking, cooperative learning and readiness for teamwork. The final products of the activity were unique wedding invitations and logos.

We recycle

On February 14, 2018 the team comprised of the school principal Emilija Angelova and professors Ornela Dzaferi and Ljupka Gajdoska implemented the intercultural activitiy with the students titled “Recycling”. During the activity, the students expressed their creativity by crafting various displays with recycled materials.

On February 13, 2018 the teacher tandem Klaudija Gudzevska and Visar Sopaj implemented the intercultural activity with the students titled “Recycling”. The goals of the activity were: enhancing students’ knowledge about environmental protection; educating students about the methods and benefits of recycling; nurturing the creative potential of students; developing mutual cooperation and respect for others.
During the activity, the students expressed their creativity by crafting various displays with recycled materials.

Understanding human rights

On February 9, 2018 professors Natasha Mladenovska and Faruk Jashari implemented the intercultural activity with the students titled “Human rights”. The goals of the activity were: understanding the importance of the concept of human rights; encouraging respect and protection of human rights; enabling the students to discuss about various rights and responsibilities; promoting respect for different opinions; cooperative learning.

Learning about rights

On February 5, 2018, professors Irena Stevanoska and Nehat Rexhepi carried out the intercultural activity during which the students, through various activities learned more about human rights. During the activity, the students participated in activities for learning about women’s rights, telling stories about the origin of their names, and doing fun activities such as identifying friends by their signatures.
